Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items requested will enhance engagement by promoting a positive classroom environment where my students feel more connected to their peers and the teacher. When students are comfortable and engaged, it can lead to better behavior and a more productive learning atmosphere.

The seating will also reduce distractions by allowing students to choose a seat that minimizes disruptions or distractions from others.

Giving students choices and a say in their learning environment can increase their motivation and sense of ownership over their education. When students feel they have a voice in how and where they learn, they are more likely to be engaged in the learning process.

The ping pong table and Foosball Table are gaming items that will increase collaborative activities and foster social interaction, encouraging learners to work together and compete or cooperate with their peers. Social engagement can be a strong motivator for many students.
