This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, full of wonder, and up for challenges! They are a wonderfully diverse group, whose learning abilities range greatly as well as the learning environment they best learn in. They come to school every day full of smiles, energy, and ready to take on the world!

I am lucky to teach such a delightful group of students who have a love for technology, they excel when immersed in engaging projects that include a variety of 21st-century tools.

My Project

My students need access to flexible seating. Every student that comes through my classroom door is unique and at times requires a change in the environment to help them learn. Sitting in a chair at a desk for multiple hours a day can be exhausting and a change would help immensely to keep them focused!

Having access to flexible seating, allows my students to have options of where and how they learn.

This year our school has also had an influx of students who are ESL/ELL students, my specific student only speaks Spanish and would greatly benefit of having access to books in her native language.
