My Project
I absolutely love how bright, curious, and full of heart my students are. Each one of them brings something special to our classroom, and I want to create a space that reflects how much they matter. Right now, many of my students choose to work around the room using clipboards while sitting or lying on the floor. They crave movement and comfort—something beyond just sitting at a desk all day.
While clipboards and open floor space help, I’ve seen how much more they could benefit from having real flexible seating options—like stools, wobble seats, yoga ball chairs, and soft ergonomic floor recliners.
These options would allow students to choose what helps them focus, feel safe, and do their best work. Some of my students concentrate better when they can gently bounce or wobble, while others prefer to stretch out with support. Giving them that choice empowers them to take ownership of their learning.
Additionally, a mobile easel with a whiteboard and anchor chart holder would be a game changer during whole-group instruction. Right now, we make do with wall space and table displays, but a movable easel would let me model lessons and display anchor charts more clearly and in the moment—whether we’re gathered on the rug or working in small groups. It helps keep lessons visual, accessible, and interactive for all learners.
This project would transform our classroom into a more welcoming, student-centered environment—where every child feels comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. Thank you for helping make that possible!
