I teach a wonderful group of 7th and 8th grade students. I am a learning support teacher so I help students with disabilities across curriculums and I also co-teach mathematics. I have the pleasure of working with students with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, mental health disorders, ODD, and other health conditions.
My classroom is need of supplies to help meet my students specific needs.
Flexible seating is essential to providing my students an avenue to release their energy so they can focus better. I also have students that need a relaxing place to wind down in order to perform at their best in the classroom. My Project
These materials will provide my students with an environment conducive to learning. My students have very specific sensory needs that can be met through flexible seating like the wobble chair. The horseshoe table will be used for direct instruction math in the Resource Room as well as pull-out for co-taught math classes. Combined, the horseshoe table and wobble chair will allow students to remain focused. Additionally, the learning buzzers will be used to review.
These materials will benefit hundreds of students by meeting their specific and unique needs that currently aren't met with our available classroom resources.
