Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating will allow students to have seating options throughout the school day. It will also allow students to quickly build collaborative learning groups efficiently in other areas of the classroom. Our classroom supplies will also be restocked, giving students a sense of ownership in our classroom. They will each have their whiteboards, markers, and pencil boxes to organize their materials. This will give them a sense of ownership and a place to practice their skills in language arts and math. The karaoke machine will be used to recite written poetry and narratives throughout the year. Students will be able to practice their public speaking and gain confidence in a fun way.
