My Project
Students have different emotional needs that vary from year to year. There are however trends that have emerged over my ten years of teaching (in public schools). This year my students have presented many difficulties with self regulation. This issue is near and dear to my heart becuase I beleive if we can give our children the tools to help themselves, they can reach their full potential.
With this donors chooser, the students can explore their emotional state through the use of a claming task.
I included mats for them to choose their seating and magnetic tiles to help them focus on a task. This will help them center themselves when feeling extreme emotions. Thus, enabling focus and metacongition to o identify and regulate their emotional state.
