My Students

My scholars are special because they strive to excel not only academically, but in all that they put their minds to every day. Scholars attend our school in Kansas City, Missouri and they don't let anything stop them from accomplishing their dreams and aspirations. Our school strives to achieve real world learning through project based and hands on learning. We're so proud of the work our scholars are doing!

My Project

In our science classroom, we only have small bar stools with no backs for students to learn from. Our classes are 90 minutes long and students are very uncomfortable by the end of class. We have tried and failed to get cushions for the stools because they are unique in size and no cushions were available. However, we do have a few flexible seating options that students really enjoy and I would love to add a few more of those seats to our classroom so that students can learn comfortably.
