My Students

I teach reading and writing to forty-five, energetic and enthusiastic learners. They enjoy reading, math, science and STEM lessons. Our school is a high performing elementary school, where students thrive with enrichment opportunities.

My students love hands-on lessons, where they are able to work together and explore.

I strive to provide my students with hands-on and interactive activities. Our classroom community and collaborative atmosphere enable the students to go deeper with their knowledge, while learning to listen to the opinions of those around them.

My Project

My classroom is a flexible seating classroom. Research shows that this helps provide the most successful environment for kids. The couch will provide another comfortable option for them to read and write! Our classroom just received our first wobble seat, and it was a great addition. I would like to add two more of these so students have more opportunity to use this seating!

I want my students to feel comfortable to they can focus and do their best work!

The vocabulary set and reading materials will help enhance my reading block. My students are often above grade level, and these sets will help me challenge them!
