Flexible Office Stations

Help me give my students the flexibility to work at a computer by sitting or standing by helping me purchase a couple of sit and stand desks for my classroom. ADHD students could greatly benefit from these desks.

My Project

If my project is fully funded, students will have the opportunity to stand while working on their computers. There are times students can’t sit still because they have been sitting all day or struggle with ADHD. They rock their chairs, spin and roll around. This is a safety hazard for the student. This year, two students have fell backward flipping the chair and landing on their backs. Although no one has been injured, it has caused embarrassment.

These desks could also prevent students sleeping in class.

When a student sits and becomes still they can become sleepy. With the desks students could stand allowing better blood circulation and awareness in class.
