My Project

I will be teaching a split kindergarten/first grade class. My students are in a Title I school. The kindergarten students will be coming to school for the first time.

I want to maximize their learning by giving them comfortable options to work.

The flexibility of the furniture will allow students to sit, stand, lay, or wobble while they learn. I want the students to feel at ease when they see the room. I want them to have the opportunity to choose the option that works best for them.

Having flexibility will foster their independence.
