My Students

Our school is a diverse community with all kinds of learners. In our classroom and school, we try to reach the needs of all students. We learn through experience, reading, creating, and each other.

Our classroom focuses on using cooperative learning structures and strategies to create students who learn together, and can communicate effectively.

My goal is to create students who are life long learners, and work together to solve the problems they face.

We love our school and it is my desire to give the students everything they need to succeed!

My Project

My classroom has had alternative seating for a year now thanks to a previous Donors Choose Project. I have seen a huge improvement in classroom environment with the addition of flexible seating. I would love to give all my future students this opportunity.

Students all learn in different ways, flexible seating is another tool to differentiate for my students.

Many students enjoy the ability to do their work all around the room in a space that is their own.

The floor leaf pads are a great resource for low tables, the chair pads give students a sense of comfort, and the stools are best at a round table for small group instruction.
