My Project

For the past 12 years, I have been fortunate to work in an urban public Montessori classroom. I am asking for a more flexible learning environment so that the students can continue to work with others while practicing their independent learning skills.

Changing the learning community will provide everyone with a place to gather and still have space for larger and smaller group activities.

Once some final pieces are added to the existing space, we will have a perfect learning environment. The seating, tables and equipment used for organization will make it easier to navigate in our classroom. Replacing the old, clunky furniture with flexible seating will ensure that everyone is comfortable, included, and engaged.
