My 3rd grade ICT class is made up of 32 unique students who are eager to learn. My students walk into the classroom bringing diverse styles of learning and abilities. I want to enhance their learning experiences in the classroom by providing them with the technological tools and knowledge to be successful in this high-tech society we live in. Our class walls do not limit our learning!
My students have diverse learning abilities and it is my goal to provide them with the best support to spark their interests and strengths in all they can do.
My Project
Teaching in an ICT setting is a blessing, but let's be serious, one thing that is lacking is space! My Co-teacher and myself struggle each day with utilizing our classroom space to best meet our students' diverse needs. Moving around the classroom to work with small groups is our biggest struggle and it is mainly due to the lack of teaching furniture we have. By helping us fund our project we will be able to share our space equally.
With a new Dry Erase Easel as well as the Ipevo IW2 Wireless Interactive Whiteboard, we will be able to teach anywhere!
The Dry Erase Easel will make writing lessons effortless when flipping through charts, keeping markers and other material organized as well. The wheels will make it accessible to move around the classroom as needed. With the Ipevo IW2 Wireless Interactive Whiteboard, we can turn any flat, white surface into an interactive whiteboard. Talk about accessible! And cool! Lastly, the small group easel will help keep small groups organized and intimate. Our goal is to create a flexible learning environment for our diverse students and we cannot do that without your help.
