This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have some of the most loving and striving ASD students! Each one of my students work daily on not only achieving their academic goals but learning to work and play together. I have a kindergarten student, 3 second graders and 2 third graders.

My Project

Both the bean bag and the lap desk are the beginning on my flexible learning classroom. As a teacher of special needs students, my kids need a structured place they can complete the center work in the different parts of the classroom. They also need a comfortable place for not only reading but for self regulation. With the bean bag, it will be used for the reading corner as a comfortable seat for personal reading. the lap desk will be used as a desk that students can use while on the group carpet completing their whole group work.
