Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class starts the day with breakfast in the classroom. Since the majority of our students are low socioeconomic status, our school provides breakfast in the classroom for all students.
Our school is over 80 years old.
Some of our students would benefit from new ideas in the classroom. Some of the students are very energetic and need support in being able to concentrate a bit more in the classroom. With an organized and clutter-free classroom, the students will be able to make choices to help further their education.
My Project
By having the option to chose where to sit, my students will be more comfortable and ready to learn. Also, by having a place to store personal items in an organized manner, the students will have more space to spread out and be more comfortable.
If students are relaxed and not worried about things going on at home, they will be more productive and ready to learn.
By having these items, the students can work comfortably in a space besides the normal school desks in our classroom. Students will be able to decide where they want to sit in the classroom.
