My Project

With these new flexible seating options, students can choose different places around the classroom where they can learn best. Flexible seating allows students to wiggle and move in a way that does not distract them or others while they work.

COVID-19 and at-home learning has changed the way students want to learn, and it is my responsibility as a teacher to create an environment where they are comfortable.

Flexible seating has been proven to help students with disabilities regulate their bodies and minds. Other students without disabilities appreciate having a choice in their learning environment and are more receptive to learning. I am very excited to be able to meet all of their learning needs through flexible seating!
