Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders attend school in a high-poverty rural district. School can be tough, but these students face numerous obstacles everyday that make learning even tougher! Even though life may be challenging, these third graders come to school ready to learn!

My third graders are a group of amazing kids!

With state testing in their future, it is my goal to supply them with as many materials as I can to assist them in become proficient, competent, and passionate learners!

My Project

Kids need to move! We all know that, but the demands of learning can sometimes require long stretches of sitting. To help, we are asking for Bouncy Bands for select classroom chairs and wobble cushions.

These materials will add additional seating choices in our classroom, and help students who may need some additional wiggle.

Students can read, work, and learn together in a manner that is comfortable to them. Have to wiggle? No problem! Need to move? Go ahead!

These seating additions will help students focus and channel their energy while not distracting others. We all win when we can wiggle while we work!
