My Students

Our class is full of Kindergarten minds that love to learn. I have 10 cherubs this year. We are learning to cooperate and think about others' feeling. Understanding that those around us have ideas and thoughts they'd like to share are some of the concepts we have been exploring through books, songs, cds, and morning meetings.

These five year olds are like super sponges, eating up every bit of information that is given to them.

They are interested in so many aspects of each topic we discuss. The questions that are asked show that their little minds are always thinking and often at a higher level. My students are each unique, special little individuals.

My Project

Thank you so much in advance for believing in their abilities to do this. We have a class full of energetic year olds that would like comfortable places to sit to read in our room during Center Time.

They would be thrilled to sit on an ottoman with their stuffies and read books to them.

These children would get a chance to feel special. New seating would make them feel as if someone thought their reading was important enough to donate ottomans to our classroom for them to become super readers. Once they feel this way, they will be off and reading!
