Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This year, I am team-teaching fifth grade optional and working closely with my fellow fifth-grade teachers.

We are a school that is trying to bring back the arts in everyday learning.

The students and teachers work hard to bring arts into our everyday learning. We work with not only drawing but in creating songs, writing music, designing buildings, etc. We are a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free lunch.

We need your help. We are in an urban area with very few prospects for the future. We are working to change that and want your help.

My Project

Hello, I am asking for many different types of materials however these are all for the same purpose of allowing my students the choice of flexible seating. The first item I requested is bands for the seats for students to use with their feet.

The second item I requested is five stand desks so that students can sit and work, or stand up and work comfortably.

The third item I'm asking is for my students who really have a lot of energy a bicycle desk that allows them to keep working while moving their feet.

The fourth thing I'm asking for is a no-roll weighted seat that allows the students to sit on the floor without rolling around, and the final thing I'm asking for is some stools of assorted color to let them have different places at our desks during stations. This is all about giving them choices while working.
