My students need flexible seating with the help of the Gaiam Kids Stay-N-Play balance ball and the wobble stools students will be able to bounce and wobble and continue to stay engaged in our learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The elementary school we attend is a place where students want to come to. Every visitor feels welcomed and the teachers here love their students. Our district is special in that every single student is offered to eat a free breakfast.
My students are a fun energetic group of 1st graders who will learn so much throughout this year.
They are excited to come to school eager to learn regardless of how hard some of their home lives are they know that they are safe at school and they can have fun and be a kid.
Students come into the classroom and one of the first jobs they do is pick where they would like to sit. Followed by a morning meeting where they get to share with the class different class building topics. This gives them a safe place to share and brings our class closer together daily.
My Project
With the Active Kids Chair (wobble stools) students will be able to wobble safely without taking away from their learning. Instead of sitting in a regular chair students can have the choice of using a stool as their learning seat for the day.
Students will be able to read comfortably at the guided reading table with the Gaiam Kids Stay-N-Play children balance balls having the freedom to move.
If students want to sit in a regular chair they can use the Kick bands to fidget without disturbing other students.
Sometimes students want to read or write on the floor but, there is only a small space of carpet students can use the Trideer inflated stability wobble cushion to sit any where in the room.
