Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students experience difficulty focusing in a classroom setting where they must sit for 60 minutes at a time with minimal breaks throughout the day. In order to support students' learning, I will offer fidget bands on their chairs so they can bounce their legs as well as flexible furniture with cushions to create a relaxing corner. The bookshelf will support students with reading and literacy, which are continuously developed in science as well as other content subjects. Students of all abilities and focus levels need support to engage in learning.
