Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are so hard working. Many of them come from lower income backgrounds and/or immigrant families. We have fun learning daily.
My students are always trying their best to meet their own goals, and to better their own learning.
This is especially more difficult for some, as many of our students are ESL students.
However, no matter the challenges my students have continued to show so much growth in their learning, both academically and socially. I am so proud of their progress and perseverance.
My Project
My students all learn in different ways on a daily basis. Thus, I'd love to help them focus in a way that is suitable for their different learning styles. That's where Flexible Seating comes in.
This will give my students tools and options to sit where and how they would learn best.
Some may learn better at a traditional desk, while others may need a bit more of an opportunity to "wiggle" during class, in order to better focus.
These wobble cushions and storage items will help me to better suit the needs of all learners in my classroom. Thank you for helping out these amazing kids.
