"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives." -Clay P. Bedford
Each day, my curious first graders eagerly walk into class ready to learn!
Their excitement is contagious! It is important as a teacher to continue to foster this kind of excitement and love for learning. I try to provide resources for my students that are motivating, educational, and will bring out their full potential. My students take great pride in their student-created work and learning.
Currently my class does not have enough chairs for our computer research center. Students have to travel throughout the room with their chairs to be able to work at this center. These colorful stools will make it easier and safer for the children to work at this center. It will also be exciting for them to sit in nontraditional classroom chairs.
Flexible seating in a classroom allows children the opportunity to make choices.
The bean bag chair will be used for our reading center. The children always look forward to visiting the reading center with a friend and sharing a great book and bean bag chair together. They are able to pick a perfect spot of their choice in the classroom to enjoy a great book comfortably.
