Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are thoughtful, creative, and so kind! They love to learn and are so excited for this school year. A lot of my students are English language learners. They love to work together and to have fun at school!

My Project

These seating options will help my students be able to move around the classroom and be able to work in a comfortable way! Kindergartners need time and space to work independently in a way that supports their learning.

Through the use of flexible seating, I am hoping that my classroom will be inviting and a place that supports learning for all of my students.

These seating options will also be used for students to practice independent reading.

Students will be more engaged and more willing to learn when they are comfortable!
