My students are fun and engaged learners! They cherish time spent together playing games and learning new things. The games we have in the classroom currently are hand-me-downs and are missing many pieces. We currently have one rug for spending time together on, playing games on, and doing read alouds or other learning on.
Students need choice in their learning to stay motivated and engaged.
Giving students a choice in where they are sitting and different seating options help students feel comfortable and ready for learning.
My hope for these students is for them to feel like their classroom is a home away from home, a true class family, where we can comfortably be together learning, growing, and playing.
