My Students

My little people and their families are simply amazing! Several of my students are new to the school and to Utah. Their families moved here just so their children could attend school in person. Their former schools in other states shut down in March, 2020, at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic, and stayed closed. They missed out on their entire first grade year, which is so critical to their literacy, social and emotional development!

After missing out on the benefits of in-person learning for over a year, they now they come to school each day so eager to learn...I'm extremely proud of them and I want to make their 2nd grade experience the best I possibly can!

My Project

My student would love to have these Flex-Space Premium Floor Seats to use in the classroom! Whether they are reading in small groups, working on their Chromebooks, perusing books in our class library, or even if they've earned it a reward for good behavior for the day, we can use these versatile little seats for so many activities!

The two beanbags we currently have in our room are so popular, but having other choices and more availability for floor sitting (which younger kids do a LOT of) would make our room comfortable and engaging for my young learners.
