it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me provide my students with attention and anxiety to improve focus and anxiety with hand2mind Mindful Maze Boards, Flick Sticks, Playdoh, flexible seating stools, and privacy dividers. These hand2mind Mindful Maze Boards are a screen-free way to teach kids how to soothe themselves! The hands-on breathing boards help build social emotional coping skills by providing cues and physical objects to guide kids through breathing exercises.
These resources give students opportunities for self regulation, which helps anxious kids opportunities to reduce stress and increase focus.
The Flick Sticks and Play-doh are calming, silent, and satisfying sensory fidget toys that reduce stress and anxiety and increases focus in school. Since not all students have the same needs, the desktop partitions are also a great resource. Classroom settings can be bustling with activity, and some students may find it challenging to concentrate amid the noise and movement. By using classroom privacy shields, I can create a designated space for focused learning, reducing external stimuli that might hinder a student’s ability to concentrate. This is particularly beneficial for students with attention-related challenges or those who simply perform better in a quieter environment.
With these different resources, I hope to provide a classroom setting that will help every student to learn, grow, and feel secure.
