My Project

I am a SPED teacher with 5 students who all have ADHD.

We have been working on positive behaviors and ways to give students choices.

For the students in my classroom, I am requesting alternative seating. The seating will provide choices for students while doing individual classwork. Sitting at a desk is not always comfortable for students with ADHD. I am also requesting items that can be used to release stored energy and keep students engaged. Students need to be able to fidget themselves in order to maintain a productive day. They will be able to take a brain break and use the rower or pedal exerciser under their desk
