My Students

The students in this school are from an underprivileged area. They are dedicated on doing their best so they can go to college. They are all from low-income homes, and all receive free lunch and breakfast. They deserve the same opportunities as every other student. Donors Choose can help provide them with some of those opportunities that I cannot afford to provide them with on my own. These students are more than capable of anything they set their mind on!

My Project

Every day my students make the choice to get up and come to school regardless of what is going on in their outside world. Sometimes it gets too hard to them to focus on their school work because they are distracted by these events. Flexible seating, such as the pillows, floor seats, balance balls, and wobble cushions will give them comfort in the classroom and allow them to fidget in an appropriate manner. These students deserve the chance to have a classroom that feels like their own and is their safe space. The pillows, balance balls, and floor seats will add to their comfort level in the classroom, which will allow their learning to prosper!
