Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have taught for six years and I am currently in a class with nearly 1 to 1 ratio of PCs to students. Students are surrounded by technology in all aspects of their daily lives, yet not enough to know how to dig deeper and understand the mechanics of how it all comes together.

My students are in a world that think outside the box and need the understanding to be able to address situations that are outside the their normal everyday interactions.

My Project

All of my students have a need desire to troubleshoot the issues in their lives. Having access to flexible seating allows them to be able to think outside the norm.

By having the Ergotron Learnfit Adjustable table it allows for students that need to move from a seated position to a standing position to be more comfortable w/ working on assignment.

Students need to be able to feel comfortable sitting in various types of settings; whether it is in a classroom setting from the 1950s or a modern day flexible classroom setting.

Flexible seating allows students the flexibility to move around the classroom. This ensures that my students and I are having the conversations that will move their thinking to the next level. Outside the box thinking will allow them to be able to make the choices to be able to move forward in the future.
