My Students
When you walk into a classroom, you should automatically be able to sense the mood. My classroom feels more like a home than a classroom. Our class works together as a family and not just as individual students.
My third grade students are life-long learners.
They enjoy coming to school and learning new things. They are able to come to school prepared to do their very best work. They work as a team in order to collaborate to meet their learning goals.
My Project
I am asking for ten wobble cushions for my third grade students. We use flexible seating in our classroom. There are a variety of benefits to using flexible seating in a classroom.
When students are comfortable and have the choice to sit in spaces that they enjoy, they are able to focus more on their learning.
Students all learn in different ways and that includes their seating.
Currently, we have tables that are lowered to the floor. This allows students to have more flexibility, not just in where they sit, but how they sit. We are able to easily move around the room and create groups. I would love to add wobble cushions so students can have the choice to sit directly on the floor, or on a comfortable cushion.
