My students need flexible seating and a new listening center. Flexible seating options allow students to learn and discover without anxiety and create an environment that every learner can enjoy while developing listening skills.
There are so many thing I love about my students. I truly enjoy the joy on their face when they discover and understand something new. When they tell me their stories of their families and friends, it brings what unique to them to create our classroom community. I especially love to see the growth they accomplish from the beginning of the year to the end of the year in First Grade.
First grade can be a difficult transition year, but at the same time it can be a year of exploration and fun.
We celebrate our learning and set attainable goals that both the student and I feel they can reach. This period of childhood is the time each student begins to learn skills needed to become a self-sufficient person. Each student has his or her own personality that influences each step of learning and development. With such a wide range of diverse needs, my goal is to help facilitate every type of learner in my classroom.
My Project
Most of my donations will create a comfortable environment for young children to learn and play. The Flex-Space Wobble Cushions are perfect for a quick reads or for partner reading and discussions. The Wobble Chairs are exceptional for desk activities, but they are also portable for group and individual learning time.
Flexible Seating and Listening Materials provide a fun way to transition from Kindergarten to First Grade.
The Flex-Space Balance Ball Seats and Flex-Space Giant Comfy Pillows will also be used as positive incentives with my classroom management. With your help, we can be flexible with our learning. Thank you.
