Flexibility for Growing Students!

Help me give my students the flexibility of seating in our classroom with this floor table and chairs to help with their wiggles.

My Students

My third grade students this year are so eager to learn everyday when they get to class! Their little bodies are growing and learn better when they are able to move, sit, and wiggle the way they need to. Just having desks and chairs in the classroom doesn’t give them an option for this without being a disruption to others. I want to give them more movement options other than sitting in a desk all day by having seating and table options. Research says learning in this environment and not having to sit at a desk all day increases their chances of being successful and eager to learn more.

My Project

With the ability to have flexible seating in my classroom my students will have more options to move about and choose where they work the best. Some like to stand, some like to sit in a desk but some love to get down on the floor with a clip board and work on their center work. This will give them the opportunity to have a more stable work station for their floor work. We all want choices and no one wants to sit in the same place all day! Please help me make this a possibility for my hard workers!
