My Project
I enjoy finding ways to incorporate fun into learning. I decided to try flexible seating this year and it has worked out great! My students who need to move around enjoy the ball chairs and those who prefer the floor are excelling at the floor table. Flexible seating is a fun way to learn.
I'm looking to add a floor table to my classroom to give more students an option to have flexible seating!
I've moved to mostly tables and by doing so it has helped with creating a space for students to work together as a group. They can check their answers while we are doing whole group and they can work together easier when we are doing small groups. I love hearing their group conversations when working together.
In addition to flexible seating, I'm looking to add a few fun activities to my U.S. Region curriculum. My fourth graders love putting puzzles together and how fun to be learning and putting puzzles together at the same time?
