My Students

I teach kindergarten in a small rural public school serving 250 students. It is so much fun to teach kindergarten. My students are all excited to learn new things. We love reading under tables, working with our partners in little corners, and enjoy choosing the best learning nook each day. It is hard for anyone to sit on the floor or at a table all day!

Kindergarten is the first exposure to full-time school for lots of my students and making learning fun, engaging and comfortable is very important to me.

My Project

Flex seating allows students to work around the classroom using preferential seating. Students will be able to use these different seating methods to complete work around the classroom

The Flex-Seating Balance Ball Bundle will transform my classrooms to make learning spaces more student-centered.

Flex seating will allow my students to sit in a place that allows them to focus and work hard on the task at hand. I will arrange seating options that are spread out all over the room so the kids are not sitting really close to other groups anymore.
