Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My class this year is filled with many happy smiling faces! Many of my new friends come from other countries! My Kindergartners are all very excited about learning!

These students are filled with wonder!

Each and every day they enter the classroom excited to learn. We are learning social skills, writing skills, numbers and more! My students teach me new things every day. My goal is to give them all of the things they need to be successful in school!

My Project

Teaching kindergarten means teaching a group of wiggling students! I would like these wobble seats so that I can set my students up for success. I will use these seats with students who have a hard time staying focused during group time.

We all have things that distract us.

For some of my students the distraction is the need to move and fidget that pulls them away from our group times. I plan to give these students a wobble seat so they can have a tactile distraction that allows them to remain focused on the learning experience. These will help keep my whole class together and focused!
