Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to give my kids more opportunities to sit comfortably. Last year, my students enjoyed my used beanbag chairs I found on OfferUp. This year, I would like to be able to give them something new to look forward to. We use flexible seating for small groups, reading and math.
The elastic band would be great for students that tend to fidget a lot.
I didn’t have this option before. It would be a nice addition to the classroom.
Lastly, the pocket bags for the back of the chairs would help keep everything organized. Last year, I had the kids turn around their desk because it was too distracting for them.
Last school year, I had 21 students. I’m not asking for a full classroom set. Whatever I get, I’m always grateful for.
