This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Second graders can be a very active bunch, especially in the afternoons. Our horseshoe table is in need of some chairs that will support students with staying focused and on task when working in small groups at this table with the teacher.
Classrooms needs to be as accommodating as possible for students to truly feel safe and comfortable.
Young children often get fidgety if they remain in one spot for very long. Being able to move to another spot or sit in a different type of seat truly helps. Wobbly seating can help students be successful and get the most out of small group instruction.
A wobble chair promotes better blood flow to the brain, resulting in more oxygen to the brain and a more efficient brain. When our brain has more oxygen, we are able to learn better. Please support this project and help these amazing wobble chairs arrive in our second-grade classroom.
