Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Do you remember the thrill of being excited about coming to class? For many of my students, school is an escape from hard home lives. Despite the challenges my students face at home, they are the most creative, talented students, I have had the pleasure to teach. Their eagerness to learn inspires me every day.

My students are inquisitive, creative, avid readers and writers.

My students need one thing-- more resources!

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning, and make decisions to help them stay engaged. My classroom has eager, active learners. They need more flexible options to keep them engaged. With flex seating, they can move their desk to join with others to keep them engaged. This can make learning more fun for my scholars!
