This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3rd graders are all military students at an all-military child elementary school. These amazing students move around from school to school every time orders are up and I’d like to provide a classroom that meets their needs in every possible way!

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. During group work or partner share, they can become engaged in their learning experience with flexible seating options. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
