My Project

Research has proven that sitting in a desk for hours at a time is not conducive to learning. Students cannot sit still and quietly and be expected to retain the learning objectives. In fact, this type of environment will promote the opposite. Students will often "space out" or find other distractions. This is not a learning environment.

Some of the benefits that flexible seating provides is the power of choice, increased focus, a sense of community, more opportunities for collaboration, fulfillment of sensory needs, and helps to build social skills.

Funding my project will give my students all these benefits!
