My soon-to-be first grade students are incredibly bright, super ambitious and extremely curious! They absolutely love learning, and my ultimate goal is to nurture this love as they explore, ask questions and collaborate. I know this is true because I taught the same group last year, in Kindergarten, and we are all looping together to first grade! Agh, I still cannot believe I have the privilege to work with them and partner with their parents another year!
I teach at a charter school in Georgia that serves students from more than thirty zip codes.
Each student is on a personalized learning path to ensure academic success at the highest possible level. My students thrive on joyful vibes and positive attention, which I strive to provide throughout the day. As a team and family, we sing, dance, play and most importantly, learn.
My Project
Flex-Seating in first grade ensures scholars have a comfortable, relaxing and fun workspace where they can focus on learning and engaging with their assignments. My sincerest hope is to create a classroom that provides several flex-seating choices, which is why I've created a project requesting the bright and colorful bean bag and balance ball seats.
These incredible products will make a wonderful addition to our bright and joyful classroom, and I envision them being used constantly throughout each day.
The bean bag seats will definitely be used during independent reading time and the balance ball seats will be used during math and writing rotations. Thank you so much for considering this project!
