My Students
I currently work with twenty-six, fabulous, fifth grade students each day! Next year I will move to a new grade level with 26 amazing new students. I am excited for this new adventure with my new class and grade level.

This is something we talk about in my classroom. There are many different ways to accomplish this goal. The first step is by being or becoming a lifelong learner. This is something I work hard to instill in students.
I want to create an environment where students feel they can take risks, try new things, and not be afraid to be wrong. As Elbert Hubbard said, "There is no failure except in no longer trying." We choose to keep trying!
My Project
This project is requesting flex seating for my students. These six comfy floor seats will provide my students a place to sit in our classroom library or in other areas around the room in a fun and safe way. Since Covid-19 we have had to get rid of any shared seating that I have used in the past in my class library or for group learning. With these six comfy floor seats that learning can continue but with safety protocols in place for spacing in the classroom! These would also be easy to clean between student use.
These seats would provide a comfy place for students to read or work in the classroom.
These seats are easy to store and can be easily carried around the room to enjoy in several different learning opportunities.
