Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our over 4,000 students will benefit from flexible seating in the social work office. They will have the opportunity to regulate in a space that is comfortable and peaceful, so they can return to class and continue focusing on their learning.
Our office is more of a traditional waiting room setup and students have let us know that this does not feel like an inviting space for them.
We want our students to feel cared about and supported. Our diverse student body would benefit from flexible seating in order to use their coping tools to re-center themselves.
