My Project

Over the last year, I have been totally overhauling my classroom. What started as an old orchestra room used for storage has slowly turned into a sort of library-cafe for my English students. I've added hundreds of books, bookshelves to house them all, big fluffy area rugs, coffee tables, warm lighting, and much more!

One of the biggest highlights has been the flexible seating options like couches, beanbags, and rocking chairs; originally they were just "cool" seating options, but they've turned into amazing collaborative work spaces.

I want to improve upon an already well-functioning classroom environment: more collaborative spaces, more school supplies, more choice in where and how they work.
