Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a first-grade teacher at a Title I elementary school. My students are very young and can’t sit still for more than five minutes.
My students have different learning styles and needs that require flexible seating.
These seats will be used during whole group lessons and during small group activities. Giving my students flexible seating will afford them the opportunity to learn while being engaged and participating in the lesson. Please help me give my students these seats that would allow them to continue wriggling around while learning new skills every day.
