it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have developed a love of reading this year. Our library is filled with books with lots of great choices. Unfortunately, when they take their books back to their seats, they begin to fidget and lose the stamina to read because they are not comfortable.
Giving the students an opportunity to have a variety of options to sit will build their stamina and have them focus on their reading.
Students will want to jump into reading right away once they find their comfortable spots with the floor cushions or the bean bags. Students can get their wiggles out as they read when they are able to use the chair bands. As readers find their perfect spots, the lights go off and they can read with their headband flashlights. All these new equipments will help strengthen their love for reading and motivate them to read for a long period of time.
