Help me give my students a mailbox organizer for their unfinished work so that they may return to their great work without feeling rushed. I also need batteries for Flashlight Friday as it's our favorite silent reading activity!
I have twenty-two, first grade students in my homeroom, with three additional students during reading in a rural school district in PA. Our elementary school is considered a Title One school, which means that we have a high percentage of children from low-income families. They come from various backgrounds, interests and academic levels.
My students are eager to learn at their full potential and I want to give them that great opportunity by offering various learning methods and a unique and warm classroom design.
I hope to inspire all of my learners to be the best people they can be.
My students would benefit from a wooden mailbox organizer to store work that they need more time to complete. I prefer my students to take their time and produce high quality work and this allows them a storage place to go back, when we have free time, to continue their work while not disrupting our schedule that we need to follow.
On Fridays, my students participate in Flashlight Friday where they each get on-level books to read quietly with the lights off and with their flashlights.
They love it so much but the batteries in the flashlights are needing replaced.
