My Project

Hello! I am looking for donations toward buying a flash for added quality to our classroom camera. The flash will allow the photos that I print out and display in the classroom, add to the class portfolio, or send home to be better quality especially when the room isn’t as bright.

I also plan on sending home end-of-the-year gifts for my students and want to include an end-of-the-year photo of the students and the class, and this flash will allow for great quality photos for the parents to cherish!

A specific lesson I plan on doing with my students is giving them the opportunity to use the camera with flash and teaching them how to use technology. My students will be shown how to use the camera and then get a chance to explore photos that they take with and without flash. We then will discuss the differences, the importance of technology, and how flash can make a photo look better and why it does. At the end of the lesson, students will get to pick out which photo they think looks best between flash and no flash and add it into the end of the year bucket that will be gifted to their parents.
