This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Another school year brings new student-athletes and programs to our school. As a Title I school, our students and families are responsible for covering the costs of their own sports participation. It can be challenging for coaches to get all the equipment they need in time. We are trying to obtain support to provide our middle school flag football teams with equipment (footballs, cones, gloves, belt clips, and a mouth guard) this year.

Due to federal grants cuts, this year will be our most challenging.

We never want the students or families to feel the financial stress, so we're relying on community support to help our teams succeed.
